Boba Sip: DIY Drink Game

Effective: October 1, 2026 · Updated: October 1, 2026

Melio App Studio ("we," "us," or "our") provides Boba Sip: DIY Drink Game (the "App") on Android and iOS. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, why it is used, and your choices.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Melio App Studio. For privacy questions or requests, contact melioAppStudio@gmail.com.

2. Information processed

Information stored locally

Gameplay state and sound preferences are held locally while you use the App. The App stores the time of the last interstitial ad on your device to enforce the ad cooldown. This information is not uploaded to our servers and can be removed by clearing App data or uninstalling the App.

Motion-sensor information

The App reads accelerometer information so tilting the device can simulate drinking. Readings are processed in real time on your device. We do not store them or send them to our servers or analytics providers.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics collection is permanently disabled in the current child-directed release. The App does not send custom gameplay analytics events. AdMob may still process limited ad interaction and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, secure, and prevent abuse of ads.

AdMob and consent information

Google AdMob displays banner and interstitial ads. All ad requests are marked for child-directed treatment, limited to a maximum G content rating, and explicitly request non-personalized ads. The App does not request access to the Android advertising ID and does not request iOS tracking permission. Google may still process:

Personalized advertising and remarketing are disabled. Non-personalized or limited ads may still use local storage or restricted identifiers for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.

Google's User Messaging Platform applies regional privacy requirements. The App identifies this child-directed release as under the age of consent so children are not asked to provide consent.

When Google requires a privacy-options entry point for a region, it appears under Settings → Privacy choices in the App.

This privacy-policy website

This page uses Firebase Hosting. Google may temporarily process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver the page, maintain security, detect abuse, and provide hosting diagnostics.

3. Why information is processed

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the legal bases are consent where legally required for device storage or advertising processing; legitimate interests in operating and securing the App where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations. The App does not rely on a child's consent for personalized ads or analytics. Where a privacy choice is available, it can be changed at any time.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We share or allow processing by Google LLC and its affiliates (AdMob, User Messaging Platform, and Firebase Hosting), restricted advertising service providers used to deliver child-directed non-personalized ads, and authorities or professional advisers when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud, or security.

The App does not enable personalized or targeted advertising. Where applicable, additional choices remain available through Privacy choices and your device advertising controls.

See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partners.

5. International transfers

Google and its providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, approved contractual clauses, or another lawful mechanism.

6. Retention

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; appeal a denied request; and complain to your local data-protection authority.

Email melioAppStudio@gmail.com to exercise a right. We may need enough information to verify and locate relevant data. Because the App has no accounts and does not request your name or email, our ability to associate analytics or advertising information with a person may be limited. GDPR requests are generally answered within one month.

You may also change available advertising choices under Settings → Privacy choices, reset or delete the advertising identifier in device settings, clear local App data, or uninstall the App.

8. Children's privacy

The App requires no account and does not request names, email addresses, precise locations, photos, contacts, or other direct personal details. Firebase Analytics is disabled. All ads receive child-directed treatment, are limited to G-rated content, and are requested as non-personalized. The App does not request the Android advertising ID or iOS tracking permission. AdMob may still process the restricted technical data above to serve ads, cap frequency, provide aggregated reporting, and prevent fraud. Children should use the App with a parent or guardian's permission. Parents and guardians may contact us with concerns or requests.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted network connections supplied by the platform and service providers. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the App, providers, or legal requirements change. Updates will appear here with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or store listing where appropriate.
